A serious dancer most of her life, Liz didn’t start running until her Junior Year in High School. That Spring, she was State Champion in the 800 meters. The next Fall as a Senior, Liz won her state cross country championship and also broke the course record. She finished up her Senior year by winning the State Championship in the 1600 meters.
